It has been a long process, but we have moved into our new office!  We are just one block south of our old location.  The new building was completely remodeled and turned out great!  Stop in and say hello.

New Equipment...

We traded in the old air puff tonometer on a new instrument.  Our Reichert 7CR does advanced measuring of the eyes intraocular pressure while taking into account the bio mechanical properties of the cornea such as thickness, rigidity, and elasticity.  This new instrument has a much softer puff of air than our old black beauty that so many of you remember.  We do this test during your eye exam to meaure the pressure of the fluid inside your eyes because high eye pressure is the leading cause of glaucoma.

New Contact Lenses....

We have begun fitting Synergeyes Hybrid lenses at our office.  These are an exciting technology that offers the crisp vision of rigid lenses with the comfort of soft lenses.  Synergeyes lenses have a rigid center and a high oxygen permeable soft skirt for the outer part of the lens.  It has been fun learning to fit these lenses and for some patients these will be a great option.
